Hope everyone has been enjoying these beautiful
summer days, we sure have! We've also been
working hard to bring you gorgeous summer flowers
and plants. Here is a little taste of what Visser's has
to offer you.

People often think tropical plants like orchids are hard
to care for, but in reality that
is not true at all, especially with the Phalaenopsis
Orchid plant. The Phalaenopsis Orchid is growing in
popularity because like many orchids its bloom can
last up to three months and it's very low maintenance;
it only requires watering every 10-14 days, medium
light, and temperatures from 65-90 degrees, which
makes it a perfect house plant.
Visser's Florist carries Phalaenopsis Orchids year
round as well as Dendrobium and Cymbidium during
the holiday seasons and in the beginning of spring.
You may also call in and request a certain species of
orchid and we will do our best to find them for you.
Our greenhouse carries everything you need to care
for your orchid, like special orchid food, bark, and soil.

| Spotlight on Esperanza Nungaray |

This month's spotlight employee is Esperanze
Nungaray, designer or our European and Dish
Gardens. Esperanza has been working at Visser's
Florist & Greenhouses for the past seven years, but
she has been working with plants since she was
fourteen years old. Esperanza enjoys working in the
greenhouse and making the European Gardens
because she enjoys the creativity involved. "I can do
something new and fun with every baskets", she says.
The hard work and unique touch Esperanza puts into
each garden is what separates Visser's European
Gardens from other florists' work, so come by today
and say hello to Esperanza and look at all of her
beautiful European Gardens.
